Dr Jenny Stewart is Honorary Professor of Public Policy in the University of New South Wales, Canberra. Jenny researches, teaches and writes in the fields of policy analysis, management and public sector reform. Jenny worked as a policy analyst in the Australian Public Service before joining the staff of the University of Canberra in 1993. She moved to UNSW Canberra in 2009 where, following her retirement in 2013, she is now a Visiting Fellow in the School of Business.
Jenny’s most recent publications are Public Policy Values (Palgrave Macmillan), and her personal memoir, Inner Weather: Learning from Depression (Hybrid Press). She is co-author (with Crowley, Kay and Head) of Reconsidering policy: complexity, governance and the state, published by Policy Press in 2020. Jenny writes regularly on public policy for the Canberra Times Public Sector Informant.
